End point: front top of head, centered above the eyes

Emotional attitude: “trying to” or pretense

Traditionally used for: colds and flu, difficulty hearing, swollen cheeks, hot flashes, speech impediments; pain in neck, shoulders, upper arms, elbow

Place right hand on left elbow (SEL 19), left hand on right elbow (SEL 19).

Move right hand to right middle of chest (SEL 13), left hand to left shoulder (SEL 11). The left hand remains on SEL 11 for the rest of the flow.

Move right hand to left inside knee (SEL 1).

Move right hand to pad of left big toe (SEL 7).

Bladder Flow

Starting point: front top of the head, above the eyes

End point: little toe

Emotional attitude: fear

Traditionally used for: pressure and pain in head and neck; teary, aching eyes; depression; anxiety; pain in back, hip, back of thigh, knee, calf, leg; anal fistula; bend in little finger; pain in middle finger

Place right hand on left middle of neck (SEL 12), where it remains for the entire flow, left hand on tailbone.

Move left hand to center back of left knee (SEL 8).

Move left hand to below outer left anklebone (SEL 16).

Kidney Flow

Starting point: little toe

End point: diaphragm

Emotional attitude: fear

Traditionally used for: blood in sputum, mouth feverish, dry tongue and throat, excessive hunger or lack of appetite, nausea, vertigo, heart discomfort, anxiety; pain in back, buttocks, posterior groin, sole of foot; stiffness of spine (weak back), memory loss

Place right hand on left little toe, left hand on pubic bone.

Move right hand to tailbone, where it remains for the rest of the flow. The left hand stays on the pubic bone.
