1. Sew pieces B to the left and right sides of a piece A.
2. Sew a piece C to the top of unit AB.
3. Sew a piece F to the top to finish column 1. figure a

1. Sew pieces B to the left and right sides of the remaining piece A.
2. Sew a piece C to the bottom of unit AB.
3. Sew the remaining piece F to the bottom to finish column 2. figure b
Make Column 3
1. Sew pieces E to the left and right sides of piece D.
2. Sew the remaining piece C to the top of unit DE.
3. Sew piece G to the top to finish column 3. figure c
Finish the Block
1. Sew the columns together.
2. Sew pieces H to the left and right sides of the block. figure d
