1. Arrange the 5 pieces A in a row. Sew pieces B to the tops of the first, third, and fifth pieces A. Sew pieces B to the bottoms of the second and fourth pieces A. figure a
2. Sew together the units AB.
Finish the Block
1. Sew piece C to the left side of unit AB.
2. Sew piece D to the right side of unit ABC. figure b
