Make the Block
1. Sew 2 pieces B to the top and bottom of a piece A.
2. Repeat Step 1 to create a total of 4 units AB.
3. Arrange the 4 pieced units in a column. The units are numbered from 1 to 4, starting at the top.
4. Sew pieces C to the right sides of units 1 and 3. Sew pieces C to the left sides of units 2 and 4. figures a & b
Finish the Block
1. Sew together the 4 units ABC.
2. Sew pieces D to the top and bottom. figure c
