Make the Block
Make the Top Unit
1. Arrange a piece B and 15 pieces A in 4 rows, as shown.
2. Sew together the squares in each row. Sew the rows together.
3. Sew a piece C to the right side.
Make the Middle Unit
1. Arrange a piece B and 15 pieces A in 4 rows, as shown.
2. Sew together the squares in each row. Sew the rows together.
3. Sew a piece C to the left side.
Make the Bottom Unit
1. Arrange the remaining piece B and 15 pieces A, as shown.
2. Sew together the squares in each row. Sew the rows together.
3. Sew the remaining piece C to the right side.
Finish the Block
Sew together the top, middle, and bottom units, sewing pieces D between them.
