Westside

Finished size: 56˝ × 56˝

This quilt uses all 25 of the 8˝ × 8˝ blocks.

Using an unexpected textile can really turn up the volume on your quilt.

Westside includes a number of print fabrics with metallic gold highlights. I continued the metallic theme by using metallic gold linen for the sashing.

NOTE

Add interest to your quilt back by making a pieced strip from your scraps and sewing it between the 2 large pieces.

Finish the Quilt

Quilt as desired. Use the 2½˝ binding strips to make and sew the binding.

I finished this quilt by free-motion quilting densely packed large, loopy flowers using my home machine.
