Ace: When Love Calls

(knock, knock, knock)

“Who is it?” her voice said softly.

“It’s Ace.”

She opened the door with her blonde braids pinned up and wearing nothing but a tank top and a camouflage thong.

“Where is Sean at?”

“Gone, over your cousin Curtis house. We had a big fight over you and everything that is going on, and I’m done,” she said.

“Done?”

“Done with him at least. Now, I need to figure out my life. I need to move out of here asap. I don’t have any money and not too many options. I can’t go back to Oakland, so I’m not sure what I am going to do.”

“I never thought I hear you say you were done with Sean. I remember when I brought you down here from Oakland with a master plan, and you let Sean come in between that.”

She paused for a second, “Yeh, I know, and I’m sorry. You had the whole plan laid out. I was supposed to get with Sean and use his credit to buy a couple of houses in his name to rent out before he could even notice. You gave me the whole blueprint, but when I saw how broken up, he was over this Harmony girl and how he could provide me some stability all of that hustle shit went out of the window.”

“Stability is that why you betrayed me. Our life wasn’t stable enough?”

“No, all we do is go from one mark to the next. I’m tired of this shit. You don’t ever feel bad?”

She was right. This hustle life was getting to me. She left me because she needed too and Sean was the perfect person to give her the stability she needed, but she never understood how crazy he truly was.

“Well, whatever you are going to do it will have to be quick. I’m sure Sean is going to be back, and that nigga is crazy. I’m not talking regular street nigga crazy either. I’m talking 51/50 crazy. The homie always had issues even when we were kids.”

“Shit, now you tell me hahaha,” we both started laughing.

I rubbed the scar on her face, “Come here let’s sit down and talk.”

We both walked over to the couch and sat down.

“Ace, I been spending some time with Curtis. When are you and Curtis going to stop this bullshit ass beef?”

“I mean we family, and to me that shit means something. However, to Curtis and the rest of the family my mother, Carter, and I don’t mean shit to them. We grew up about three blocks away from each other, and it was almost a crime for us to speak. Sean is Curtis best friend so he naturally he sided with Curtis. Jasmine always seemed to find herself caught up in the middle of all of us and with all the shit going on now I see things have not changed.”

She shook her head, “Yeh, karma will get her.”

“Anyway, why you spending so much time with Curtis? I thought Sean never really brought you around?”

She put her head down, “I was ready to move on from Sean. I needed to make a move and needed enough money to be stable. So, I convinced Sean to take me to church, and it was there I had good old Deacon Curtis pray for me. I told him I needed some spiritual help and this fool took the bait. I was planning on stealing some of the church checks from him since he is one of the people authorized to sign checks on behalf of the church but then all of this shit happened. Maybe, God is trying to tell me to chill.”

“Stealing from the church? Damn baby, you gotta chill.”

“I do need to chill, but I also need to make moves tho. Sean is crazy. All this time he had me to believe his ex-girlfriend was still alive and now I find out from Kianna that she has been dead for years.”

“Kianna?”

“Yes, Kianna. I thought I taught you to be a better hustler than that Ace.”

“What you mean baby?”

“I sold Curtis this dream about me being a job recruiter, and he tells me that his wife Kianna just lost her job. He tells me to reach out to her and help her find a new job. Curtis tells me to reach out to her on Facebook, so I did. I know you had told me about a Kianna you were hustling, but fuck I didn’t think you were that stupid. She tells me where she used to work, and instantly I put two and two together. You hustled Curtis’s wife, Ace. You never once asked about her husband or looked at photos of him?”

“Fuck!”

Honestly, Kianna was so on my dick that I didn’t think to ask about her husband. Now I know she was attracted to me because she was already attracted to my cousin. I can’t believe she never mentioned him being that everyone always says we look alike.

“You okay Ace?”

“Yeh, yeh I’m okay just was in deep thought. I know this bitch Jasmine has already connected the dots. Fuck, this shit keeps getting messier and messier.”

“I know that’s why I’m over this shit,” she says.

“Well, we in this shit together now Melody. I’m not going back to December and you ain’t going back to Sean. So where does that leave us?”

“You tell me? We have been down this road before so what are we going to do?”

I took a deep breath and finally it all made sense. Everything that happened was all leading me to this one point, and I finally understood the purpose of it all.

“Look, when you and I were together it was beautiful. First, you hustled me and then I hustled you and shit it was love at first sight. The problem was we just were afraid to be ourselves. Instead of letting our guards down and being vulnerable we reverted to our old ways. I’m a hustler and a womanizer, and you take advantage of people and scam. But who are we really? We two broken people from broken homes. One thing I do know out of all the women I have been in relationships with I could never cut you off. What I’m trying to say is that you weren’t just a come up. I know I’m a flawed man but can you accept me for who I am?”

She took a long look at me, “I always accepted you for you. I don’t judge you but if you are asking what I think you are asking me then yes, I want to be together. I want us to be different. No more lying to each other and no more hustling. It’s time for us to be squares and live that square life.”

I got down on one knee in the middle of Sean’s apartment. I reached into my pocket for the ring I tried to give December earlier. I pulled the ring out of my pocket and opened the box.

“Look this is the ring I planned on given December. I now know that would have been the biggest mistake of my life. I love you, and I want you to take this ring and marry me.”

She started crying and got down on her knees with me. “Yes, I will marry you. You are going to buy me a new ring tho hahaha.”

I shook my head in agreement and began to kiss her slowly. We both stood to our feet and began to undress. I picked her sexy body up in my arms and carried her to the bedroom. I laid her heavenly naked body on the bed. I took a step back and stared at her.

“God thank you for giving me, Melody.”

She smiled in a way I have never seen a woman smile before. For the first time in the inside of my heart, I felt complete. I found my soulmate. I found the only woman in the world made for me.

I started massaging her feet, and then I took her foot and wrapped my mouth around her toes. I sucked her toes as she moaned. Melody would never admit it, but she loved her toes sucked. I kissed her thighs slowly and parted her legs. I took my two fingers and parted her lower lips and began to rub her clit. She was drowning my fingers in her love. I was fully erect, and I couldn’t wait any longer. I wrapped her legs around me and inserted myself inside of her. With each thrust, I could feel her juices cover my dick. Our tongues danced in each other’s mouths as I continued to stroke.

“Baby, you going to cum for me.”

“Yes, baby!”

“Ace, I want you to cum with me.”

“Ok, I’m a cum with you.”

“Don’t pull out baby. I’m ready.”

A whole flurry of emotions went through my mind. Ready? She was ready. What the hell does ready mean?

“Okay.”

“Cum in me baby. I’m ready.”

“Ok.”

She tightened her legs around me and released all of her juices. Her warm pussy gripped my dick like a glove as if she was jacking my dick off with her hands.

“I’m cumming baby,” she yelled.

“Me too, can you feel me!”

“I feel you Ace. I love you.”

“I love you too Melody!”
