Beautimous Lemallaby

Of all the fantastic flora and fauna I have found here on the Lone Island, this little critter is my absolute favorite. Remember your taxonomy? Kingdom, phylum, class, order, genus, family, species? Well, the Beautimous Lemallaby isn’t just a new species. It’s a brand-new class—a sort of marsupial/rodent/primate mishmash and an extraordinarily advanced one at that. Each lemallaby has a unique SunBurst Blossom pattern on its rump, which serves as camouflage as they travel through the jungle canopy, never setting their adorable little toesies on the ground. I am so fond of the lemallabies, in fact, that I have named one of them Little SmooshieFace because of his adorable visage, and he has become my greatest confidante and adviser on island matters. Yes, Little SmooshieFace knows it all.
