Review and Reflect
Think
about the questions you answered in these lessons.
- Were
you able to approach each question systematically, using the Kaplan Method for Mathematics?
- Did
you feel confident that you understood what the question was asking you to do?
- How
well were you able to apply arithmetic and algebra rules to solving problems?
- Were
there times when you could have solved more efficiently using critical thinking and
estimation, rather than calculation?
- Did
you confirm your answer for every question, checking that it made sense and
that you had not made any arithmetic or algebra errors?
- If
you missed any questions, do you understand why you got the incorrect answer? Could you do the question again
now and get it right?
Use your thoughts about these questions to guide how you continue to
prepare for the TEAS. If you feel you need more review and practice with arithmetic and algebra, you should study this chapter some more before taking
the online Practice Test that comes with this book. Also, consider building your mastery and your confidence further by using Kaplan’s ATI TEAS® Qbank, which
contains over 500 practice questions.
