About the Author

Cynthia C. Muchnick was born and raised in Marin County, California. She received a bachelor’s degree in art history and political science at Stanford University, where she met her husband, Adam Muchnick. After completing college, Cindy moved to Chicago, where she began her career in college admissions at the University of Chicago. Cindy and her husband relocated to Florida; there she earned her master’s degree in liberal studies, taught tenth grade history, and wrote her first book, Will You Marry Me? The World’s Most Romantic Proposals, followed by 101 Ways to Pop the Question.

Cindy is proud to be dubbed a wedding expert and engagement coach. She has appeared on dozens of talk shows and news stations including Leeza, Sally Jesse Raphael, Donny & Marie, Fox News, Good Day LA, Good Day New York and many others. She also worked as a columnist and spokesperson for Honeymoon magazine and currently freelances for Coast Magazine. Her educational publication, The Best College Admission Essays, is a how- to book for high school students going through the college essay-writing process. Her recent wedding book, The Ultimate Wedding Idea Book: 1001 Ways to Make Your Wedding Fun, Romantic, and Memorable, has become a must-have for brides and is well received in the wedding and media community.
