Bog: A wet place with lots of mud and usually standing water.

Pollinate: When pollen from one part of a flower is added to another part of a flower. A flower must be pollinated to grow a fruit.

Pollinator: Whatever thing moves the pollen grains from one part of a flower to another.

Seed pod: A shell or cover that protects a plant’s seeds. Not all plants have seed pods around their seeds.

Species: A group of creatures or plants that share common features.

Sprout: When a seed starts growing.
