ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Douglas C. Dildy is a retired USAF colonel and former F-15 pilot who worked with SHARs operationally and in air-to-air training during his first NATO tour of duty. A graduate of the USAF Academy as a history major, and with a masters degree in Political Science, Dildy has written ten books for Osprey. He is a feature writer for Aviation Classics, an associate editor of Logbook and a regular contributor to the Small Air Forces Observer magazines. Doug lives with his wife Ann in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Pablo Calcaterra is a Canadian citizen from Argentina. He is an avid and award-winning aircraft modeller who has written numerous articles for various modelling and aviation history websites. With direct access to the Argentine Air Force archives and contact with many Falklands/Malvinas War veterans, Calcaterra has also had several articles on the subject of Argentine air combat operations published in periodicals such as Small Air Forces Observer. Pablo lives with his wife Laura and their children in London, Ontario.

ILLUSTRATORS

Jim Laurier is a native of New England, growing up in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. He has been drawing since he could hold a pencil and throughout his life he has worked in many mediums creating artwork on a variety of subjects. He has worked on the Osprey Aviation list since 2000 and in that time he has produced some of the finest artwork seen in these volumes.

Gareth Hector is a digital artist of international standing as well as an aviation history enthusiast. Gareth, based in Scotland, completed the battlescene artwork and cover artworks for this volume.
