16. Jack’s Magic Compass Chili Stew

Normally the compass that we use while traveling on a ship helps in pointing out the north direction, but Jack’s compass is a bit different. The compass didn’t actually point out the north direction, but it pointed to what the owner wanted. Quite surreal, isn’t it? This chili stew is also like the magic compass. It will not eliminate your hunger need; rather, it will actually increase it because of its taste. If you love spicy flavors, then this recipe is just perfect for you.
Ingredients
Cooking time  - 1 hour

Instructions
1. In a saucepan, add the light margarine, with some onions, and sauté the onions until it’s transparent. Add in the garlic, chili powder, and turkey and let it cook for a few minutes.
2. Once the turkey has changed color, add in the tomatoes, tomato paste, raw chopped potatoes, beer, celery, and chopped spicy peppers. Let it all cook for 15 to 20 minutes. The potatoes should be tender by now.
3. Add in the beans with its water to the saucepan and season the stew with salt. Then, let it simmer on a medium flame for 20 minutes.
4. Once done, serve the stew hot with some rice on the side.
