21. Hoist of Colors Farro Salad

The Hoist of Colors is a song that is sung by pirates while hoisting the pirate flag. This song is introduced in the 3rd part of the series, and surely everyone completely falls in love with it. But since we are talking about melody and color, here's a dish representing the same. This recipe is filled with colors and different flavors. This is a flavor combination. Enjoy the freshness.

Ingredients

• 2 cups boiled farro
• 10 cups packed arugula
• 4 cups chickpeas, soaked and drained
• 3 cups chopped cucumber
• 2 cups chopped red bell pepper
• 1 cup green olives
• 1 cup feta cheese
• 1 cup chopped parsley
• Salt to taste
• 2/3 cup olive oil
• 6 teaspoons lemon juice
• 4 teaspoons honey
• 1 teaspoon minced garlic
• 1 teaspoon dried oregano
• 2 teaspoons chili flakes
• 1 teaspoon Black pepper

Cooking time  - 40 minutes

Serving size - 8

Instructions

1. In a large bowl, combine the boiled farro, chickpeas, cucumber, parsley, olives, red bell pepper, salt and toss it well.

2. In another small bowl, add in the honey, chili flakes, olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, Black pepper, garlic and mix well.

3. Pour the dressing over the salad, season it with salt if required, and mix well.

4. Serve it with some cool and refreshing drink on the side.
