Flashback to Elli strutting into school, she barely looked at me and it only made me want her more. I was such an idiot for walking away after five seconds of conversation. It was literally painful when all I could think about was how much I wanted to kiss her. In one area in particular, the cutout on that sexy green dress. Damn that girl has seriously never looked better and it only made it hotter when she thought about walking right past me. Way to play it cool, Ellemeister.
Without another word to the guys I shove my backpack in my locker and make a run for the stairs. I’m taking them two at a time. My heart is pounding harder than it ever has.
A whole row of eyes shoot up to spot me making my way down. Her back is turned and she’s talking animatedly while all of her friends stare at me. I half expect she’ll say no but I’m gonna ask anyway. So what if this party has been planned for weeks? I’d rather hang out with Elli. I step closer and the whole group stiffens. Morgan looks like she’s trying to get Elli’s attention without actually saying anything and it makes it pretty clear Elli’s talking about me. What else would she be saying that has everyone so jumpy?
“He doesn’t, Morgan, he didn’t even try to kiss me, you know he’d kiss me if he liked me. This is Jagger we’re talking about, he could have done it a million times, he had all night. God, I wanted him to, he had to know that. He–”
Without thinking too much about it, ‘cause I’d definitely bitch out if I did, I grab her shoulders and spin her around, planting a kiss on her before she can say another word. I had no idea she wanted me to go for it Monday night, not like I do now. God, I wanted it too.
She’s so surprised that she stands there with her hands at her sides for a second before wrapping them around my waist. This isn’t just some weak Eric type kiss, if Eric actually kissed the girls I hand him on a silver platter. No, I go all out, soft but passionate kisses chicks can’t resist. And she’s not. She’s going for it, kissing me so hard that if I don’t stop I’m going to end up slamming her against the wall and having my way with her.
It really shouldn’t feel this good but after weeks of thinking about it I know why it does. It’s even hotter than I imagined. Way hotter. Just like the rest of her, her lips are soft and smooth, perfect under mine. She opens her mouth and I don’t waste a second before getting my tongue exactly where it wants to be.
All her friends are staring and trying to hold back girlie squeals. It’s pretty fucking adorable. I wonder if Elli would be doing that if some other guy was kissing one of her friends. How can I even think about that at a time like this?
Before something can ruin the moment, I pull away and a millisecond later the first bell rings. Perfect timing for once, Jagger. My body starts leading me up the stairs and I let it, I don’t know what I would say anyway. How could I with the stupid smile I have on my face?
How is it that on me it looks retarded but on Elli it’s sexy as hell? I seriously doubt I’ve ever seen her as happy as she looks right now, her friends circling around her, random people wondering what the hell just happened.
“Yo, what the hell was that?” It’s Travis Stone over my shoulder.
I just grin. “Hell if I know, Trav. I couldn’t help myself.”
“That chick is hot. Who the fuck is she?”
Really? He did not just ask that. Stone is on the team, he fucking knows who Elli is even if he wants to pretend he doesn’t. What is up with the dudes in our school? Eric, then Muncey and now Stone?
I don’t even bother answering as Marc and Brewski come into the room, mostly because I don’t know how to respond. She picks up after him every practice, keeps track of his pathetic stats, yeah, maybe try hitting the ball for once. I get that she’s sitting next to Morgan but come on, how could he not notice her? Is he just doing it to act cool like he’s above her or something? Whatever it is, it’s really starting to piss me off.
“Hey Stone, remind me to punch you in the face at practice today.”
“What?” He looks confused, and scared, more scared than confused and he should be. His face has met my fist before.
“And if you let me forget, I’m punching you twice,” I call over my shoulder, walking away.
“Dude, tell me you were just playing tonsil hockey in front of the cafeteria. Don’t let the Marc-man down. How hot was she? 1 to 10.”
Brewski looks even more interested in the story but I play it cool. “Where do you get your information Marc?”
“Ahhh damn. I heard it was hot too, sliding her skirt up, ready to do the horizontal mambo in the hall.”
I smack him upside the head.
“The vertical tango then, against the cafeteria doors.”
“Riiight! Kissing a girl? At school? On the lips? Well, those lips. Does that sound like me?”
“Told you fuckface,” Brewski says following my lead by giving our friend a love tap on the other side of his head. “Jagger doesn’t mess with V from Eastlake. You need to get new sources bud.”
I ignore Jonah when he comes into the room because that little bastard can fuck himself until his hand bleeds. Then I hear him call Elli over the second she walks in. Her face is all red and she’s giggling like a lunatic but for some reason I think it’s the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen. She practically runs over on her jewel covered heels, skidding to a stop before hopping on top of Jonah’s desk, that sexy tan shoe dangling in my face. Do you think she’d notice if I reached out for her ankle? With my tongue. Until I reach...
Without a second thought I figure out the solution to all my problems. Yeah, I want to spend the weekend with Elli but this party is gonna be epic. I could kill two birds with one stone and invite her and her little friends to this thing Saturday night. Besides seeing them with Elli every day I’ve never really noticed them. None of them are hot so it’s not like I’m gonna be tempted to screw any of ’em when Elli’s back is turned. It’s pretty much a win-win. It’s a hell of a lot easier to get Elli to stay over with me if we’re already at my place, right? This plan can’t fail.
