Using yarn A, start with a magic ring.

Round 1 (WS): ch 3 (counts as 1 dc throughout), 2 dc into ring, ch 2, 3 dc into ring, ch 1; using yarn B (join/change of color to be counted as ch 1 throughout), [3 dc, ch 2 into ring] twice, sl st in third ch of beginning ch 3, turn (12 sts).
