Using yarn A, ch 4 and join with sl st in first ch made to form a ring.

Round 1 (WS): ch 3 (counts as 1 dc throughout), [2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc] into ring, ch 1; using yarn B, ch 1, [3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc] into ring, 1 hdc in third ch of beginning ch 3 (hdc counts as ch 2 throughout), turn (12 sts, 4 x 2-ch sp).

Fasten off yarn A.
