STITCHES
slip stitch joining—with right side of blocks facing up and holding the working yarn at the back of the blocks, insert hook through the back loop on one block and through the corresponding back loop on the second block, pick up yarn from the back of your work and make a slip stitch. Continue in this way until all stitches have been joined.

Using the Two-color Intarsia Square on this page, make in the following colors:
Six squares using yarn A and yarn B.
Six squares using yarn B and yarn C.
Six squares using yarn C and yarn D.

Using the layout chart, join the squares in six rows of six squares using the slip stitch joining method (see panel, above). Match the joining yarn color to that of the squares being joined.
