BaeSebastian-OPT.jpg

Sebastian Bae was born in Seoul, South Korea; he attended high school in New Zealand and then immigrated to Canada. He works for a 3D animation company, where he has been exposed to movies and novels by world-class directors and others.

Sebastian began reading the classics at the age of twelve. His favourite writers are Fyodor Dostoevsky, George Orwell, Jean–Paul Sartre, Charlotte Brontë, Thomas Hardy, Franz Kafka, Albert Camus, William Golding, and many others. When he started to work in the 3D animation studio, he began to watch movies extensively. Sebastian also loves poetry and Japanese animation. His recent infatuation is landscape photography.

Writing has been a little hobby of Sebastian’s since he was thirteen. None of the writings were ever finished; he found it impossible to end any of the stories. A Man from Bikini is his first ever full-length story.

Sebastian says: “I will continue to write till I die.”
