1. They have really large eyes on small heads, sloped shoulders, and strong hindquarters.
2. Back when their kind was exported to Canada, they were known to easily adapt to the terrain as well as to the varying climates.
3. Even as foals, they are noted to be bold, free, and characteristically fast.
