Disclaimer
Dear Reader,
This book is a lighthearted primer for the wine consumer who wishes to know more about wine but is not interested in discussing what pH level qualifies a wine as flabby (yet). If you happen to be a sommelier, or are taking sommelier courses, or just happened to watch the Somm movies and are a dick about it, you probably know most of what I’ll cover in this book. While I believe this book will still be entertaining and valuable to you, I mention this because I don’t need your Amazon reviews about how you already knew everything in this book. No shit! You’re a sommelier, and genuinely, congratulations, because that is a huge accomplishment. But this isn’t an advanced course on the Rheingau. I’m writing this book for me five years ago, who wished I had something to help get me started, and everyone else who has been wishing that they had this type of primer, too.
But for all interested parties, I hope you buy this book, read it, and find yourself enjoying wine more than ever before. No flash cards required.
Cheers,
