Homemade Lotion Bars

3/4 cup beeswax

1/4 cup shea butter

1/4 cup unrefined virgin coconut oil

20 drops essential oil of your choice

6 to 8 soap molds

Lotion bars are amazing for traveling; they are a completely leak-free way to moisturize your skin on the go. The recipe is similar to many of the lotion recipes in the book, made with just a little more beeswax and formed into a beautiful mold!

Melt all solid ingredients in a double boiler until liquefied. Remove from heat, stir in essential oil and allow mixture to cool slightly. Pour liquid evenly into molds and allow to harden—this should take about 2 hours. Pop your solidified lotion out of the molds and voilà! Lotion bars!

To use, rub over clean, dry skin. Do not rinse.
