High-Protein Chocolate and Banana Breakfast Shakes

Makes about 2 cups (2 servings)

1. In a blender, combine the ice, sugar, cocoa powder, tofu, banana, yogurt, and milk. Blend on high speed until the shake is combined and creamy.

2. Serve the smoothies right away in chilled tall glasses.

Chef’s Note

You could also add wheat germ, flax seeds, dried fruit, or nuts (soaked in water first, to soften them) for additional flavor, texture, and nutritional value.

Safety First

Remember to never put your hands inside the blender when it is plugged in. If you need to stir the ingredients, stop the blender, take the pitcher off of its stand, and use a long spoon.
