Makes about 2 cups (2 servings)
1. In a blender, combine the peaches, banana, peach juice or nectar, yogurt, and honey, if using. Blend until smooth and thick.
2. Serve the smoothies right away in chilled tall glasses.
If you can’t find sweet, fresh peaches, substitute 1 cup of frozen peach slices—no need to defrost!
You can also keep peeled bananas in the freezer for ease of use. Using frozen bananas will change any smoothie into a frosty treat.
Smoothies are an easy way to experiment with different flavors since you can make a smoothie out of almost any ingredient. Choose fruits and vegetables that complement each other, like sweet berries with tart lime juice, plus a little liquid to help them blend smoothly. And remember that fruity flavors can overpower the flavor of some vegetables, so don’t be afraid to put some spinach in your blender!
