1“And if his offering is a peace-offering sacrifice, if he is offering from the herd, whether male or female, he shall make it unblemished in front of YHWH.
2And he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting. And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall fling the blood on the altar all around.
3And he shall bring forward from the peace-offering sacrifice an offering by fire to YHWH: the fat that overs the innards and all the fat that is on the innards
4and the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, that is on the loins; and the lobe on the liver: he shall take it away with the kidneys.
5And the sons of Aaron shall burn it to smoke at the altar upon the burnt offering that is on the wood that is on the fire, an offering by fire of a pleasant smell to YHWH.
6“And if his offering as a peace-offering sacrifice to YHWH is from the flock, male or female, he shall make it unblemished.
7If he is making his offering a sheep, then he shall bring it forward in front of YHWH
8and lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it in front of the Tent of Meeting. And the sons of Aaron shall fling its blood on the altar all around.
9And he shall bring forward from the peace-offering sacrifice an offering by fire to YHWH: its fat, the entire fat tail—he shall take it away from the backbone—and the fat that covers the innards and all the fat that is on the innards
10and the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, that is on the loins; and the lobe on the liver: he shall take it away with the kidneys.
11And the priest shall burn it to smoke at the altar: food, an offering by fire to YHWH.
12“And if his offering is a goat, then he shall bring it forward in front of YHWH
13and lay his hand on its head and slaughter it in front of the Tent of Meeting. And the sons of Aaron shall fling its blood on the altar all around.
14And he shall make his offering from it, an offering by fire to YHWH: the fat that covers the innards and all the fat that is on the innards
15and the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, that is on the loins; and the lobe on the liver: he shall take it away with the kidneys.
16And the priest shall burn them to smoke at the altar: food, an offering by fire as a pleasant smell. All fat is YHWH’s.
17It is an eternal law, through your generations, in all your homes: you shall not eat any fat and any blood.”
