Acknowledgments

Writing may be a solitary task but publishing, I have discovered, is not. There are a whole lot of people that have stood between me and my “final draft” of A Panther Crosses Over and you, the reader of this, the actual final product. And each of them has had to display literary and professional wisdom and talent in order to offer you a story you may enjoy. They have provided creative editing, line editing, marketing, website creation, book design, including page layout and cover design, and so much more. In fact I have a Gantt chart of details that had to be created, cared for, and approved. That chart is three pages long and single spaced. And every line was the responsibility of some competent professional. I can’t thank them all, but I do want to offer my acknowledgement and gratitude to a few.

Dan Crissman offered a creative edit that gave the current structure to the book you have just read as well as an arc of character for the major players in the story. A Panther Crosses Over is a much better work thanks to his efforts on my, and your, behalf.

I also want to offer my most sincere thanks to Leslie, Karen, Georgie, Sara, Rachel, Bethany, and Devon. They are the women who created and ran that three-page Gantt chart. They are accomplished, professional, and so considerate of an author who was frequently wrong and seldom willing to come easily to that conclusion.
