Berry Christmas Dark Chocolate-Covered Cranberries
Makes 1¼ cups of this favorite tangy, tasty Tolvania Christmas treat
Ingredients:
- 10 oz. of dark chocolate chips for melting. I like using the Ghirardelli brand.
- 10 oz. whole cranberries
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon vanilla
Instructions:
- Melt chocolate chips over very low heat stirring constantly, or in a microwave starting at 30 seconds and then doing 10-second intervals. Do not overcook the chocolate. Once melted add cinnamon and vanilla.
- Using toothpicks, dip cranberries into the chocolate and place cranberries on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Put in the refrigerator until firm.
- Enjoy and be sure to leave some out for Santa, we hear he loves Tolvania treats!
NOTE: This is a fun project to do with your kids. The more little hands you have to help dip the cranberries before the chocolate hardens, the better.
