Acknowledgments

I would like to acknowledge the many players involved in the production of this work. First and foremost, Dr. Gerald Epstein, who introduced me to this sacred art and science via his dedication to teaching students this spiritual way of learning. He has influenced my life in so many ways and for this I am deeply grateful. He offered me a safe journey, on a path of light, to truth and self-awareness. This book represents the accumulation of information received at the foot of this master spanning more than three decades. I must also acknowledge, of course, his teacher Madame Colette Aboulker-Muscat for introducing him to this sacred system.

I would like to acknowledge my mother, Rose, and my father, Anthony, for giving me the opportunity to be here in this wonderful life. I want to also thank them for the wisdom and knowing that was passed along to me, not only genetically, but also in their honoring of God in a way that feels so right for me and so easy for me to feel and practice in my life.

I would like to acknowledge Dr. Rebbie Straubing for her marvelous contributions to this book. First, by saying, “Just write. You can worry about editing later. Just get it on the paper.” I would also like to acknowledge her for her most wonderful illustrations and her tremendous contribution to editing. I thank her for always having my back and for her unswerving support and confidence in me in all the endeavors I have undertaken during our precious thirty-eight-year-long friendship.

A very special thank you goes to Lindy Cacioppo for her tireless hours of transcription and documentation and for being a trustworthy receptacle for all the components of this book as I gathered notes, thoughts, and insights that spanned decades. Her excellent technological savvy along with her contribution to editing were instrumental in bringing this book into tangible form.

I would also like to acknowledge my son, Daniel, for his excellent muscle control that enabled him to demonstrate the muscles of the mouth, and for simply giving me the opportunity to be the mother of such a wonderful son—and how great is that? I would like to acknowledge Rachel Epstein for all her encouragement and help. And a warm thank you to all my patients.

Most of all I would like to acknowledge God for allowing this sacred art and science to be revealed to us.

The true being

Is there

Among us;

Divided into creatures

In every other face

I recognize Him,

And I see me!
