Small Changes To Develop A Healthy Mindset
Most of all, it is important that when reading this book and then walking through your home, you go about this new organizing project with a positive attitude. Know that you are on the right track to unwind and de-clutter is essential.  It may seem at times like you have made your situation worse, especially as all of your belongings are spread out on the floor.  Still, you have to remember that you are doing it right.
Keep in mind that you are now taking the necessary steps to make your life better, and it is not fair to constantly berate yourself every time you walk through your cluttered rooms.  Continually tell yourself that you are smart for taking the steps to de-clutter before the situation gets too out of hand.  Even if your surroundings are in terrible condition, you willingness to do something about it speaks volumes about your character as a productive and responsible person.
Tell yourself that you are proud of the way you are taking charge of your life, and remind yourself that you are doing this because you are wanting something better. Life is valuable because we only get one at a time. Don’t waste it by walking through piles of useless and stress-inducing clutter. Make the small changes necessary to carry it through.
