Hilary Mantel is the author of thirteen books, including A Place of Greater Safety, Giving Up the Ghost and Beyond Black, which was shortlisted for the 2006 Orange Prize. Wolf Hall won the 2009 Man Booker Prize, and its sequel, Bring Up the Bodies, has been shortlisted for the 2012 Man Booker Prize.
