“We’ve got the stagecoach surrounded, so come out with your hands up!”
The door to the coach creaked slowly open, and a man emerged, his face hidden behind a jet-black bandana.
“That’s far enough,” said Dead-Eye Dan Crowley. He cracked the knuckles of his left hand against his weathered cheek, his right hand still keeping his Colt revolver trained on the mysterious man. “Now take off that mask. I ain’t foolin’.”
The outlaw reached up, eyes trained on Dead-Eye Dan’s face. He slipped the bandana from his head.
Dead-Eye Dan gasped. “Ace McClintock? But there’s no way…”
Ace McClintock threw back his head and laughed uproariously. “Not who you were expecting, Dan?” he asked. “Well, you’re about to find out there’s a whole lot more to me than meets the eye!”
