Time: 30 minutes

Difficulty: Easy peasy

You Will Need

One batch of vanilla cupcakes

White and pink sugar florist paste (SFP)

White and pale green sugarpaste

Circle, large daisy and small leaf plunger cutters

Silicone button mould

Edible glue

1. Roll out some white SFP finely on a non-stick surface. Use the daisy cutter to cut out three flowers for each cupcake.

2. Place the flowers into an empty egg carton to mould them into their distinctive cupped shape. Leave the flowers to dry so that they hold their shape.

3. Roll out some green sugarpaste to 2mm (332in) thick. Use the small leaf plunger cutter to cut out three leaves for each cupcake, pushing the plunger down to imprint veins into the leaf. Pinch the base of each leaf into a ‘V’ shape.

4. Press some pink SFP into a silicone button mould to make three buttons for each cupcake.

5. Attach the buttons into the centre of each flower using edible glue applied with a fine paintbrush.Cover the top of each cupcake with a circle of white sugarpaste that has been rolled out to 3mm (18in) thick. Attach the flowers and the leaves to the centre of the cupcakes using edible glue.
