‘A Star Is Born’ Card

To celebrate a new little star in the world, make this stunning card using a star die cut. Make the design using pink paper and felt for a baby girl.

Time: 1 hour

You Will Need

White single-fold card 13.5cm × 13.5cm (5¹⁄₄in × 5¹⁄₄in)

Patterned paper

Textured white card

Pink or blue button

Pink or blue felt

Adhesive pearl

Small and large star die cuts

1. Cut a piece of blue or pink patterned paper measuring 13cm × 13cm (5in × 5in). Attach to the front of the single-fold card.

2. Cut a piece of textured white card measuring 12cm × 12cm (4³⁄₄in × 4³⁄₄in) and die cut a large star in its centre. Machine stitch all around the edges and use adhesive foam pads to attach it to the front of the card.

3. Die cut a small star from the felt and add the button on top. Use an adhesive foam pad to secure inside the centre of the large die cut star shape. Stick on the adhesive pearl in the top left corner of the card to finish.
