Brendan began his career in 1994 for the Northwest Current in Washington, D.C. He worked for four years for the Herald-Mail in Hagerstown, Maryland, where his met his wife, Kerry. They live in Daphne, Alabama, with their two children, Mariah and Declan; their dog, Tillie; and cat, Martin.

Brendan grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs and shares that region’s fanatical devotion to the Phillies, Eagles, Flyers and 76ers.
