I’ve become obsessed with this tasty snack, which I feel good about eating in embarrassingly large quantities. In the spirit of making every bite count, each element of this addictive mix earns its nutritional keep. I start with that new superfood darling, dried white mulberries, which taste like caramel and contain less sugar than raisins, dates, and other dried fruit (and that’s before you even get to the fiber, antioxidant phenols, and protein). I also throw in vitamin C–laced rose hips; amazing almonds; antioxidant cacao nibs, which add a shot of high-fiber, low-sugar chocolate goodness; and tender, low-carb coconut flakes, which contribute a tropical sweetness and an outsized helping of fiber.
