Whenever my nerves are jangled or I’m feeling tired, I know that my body must be experiencing inflammation. Whipping up a juice like this is like putting a fire extinguisher to the stressors that throw my body out of whack. If I’m being really careful, I leave out the apple. Sugar is not my friend during those times, which are becoming more rare, thankfully.

Juice all of the ingredients. Pour into a tall glass and serve immediately.
Tip Think Zinc
When I see white ridges under my nails, I know my body isn’t absorbing zinc. When juiced, leafy greens like spinach release high levels of zinc, which are more easily absorbed into the bloodstream than in their original form.
