Creamy Tomato Penne Pasta

Makes 4 to 6 servings

2 8-oz. cans tomato sauce

garlic powder and white pepper to taste

1/2 pt. half-and-half

1 T. grated Parmesan cheese

16-oz. pkg. penne, cooked

Garnish: grated Parmesan cheese, chopped fresh parsley

Combine tomato sauce, garlic powder and pepper in a small saucepan; stir in half-and-half and Parmesan cheese. Simmer over low heat until heated through. Place cooked penne in a large serving bowl; top with sauce. Garnish with Parmesan cheese and parsley.

You don’t have to spend a lot of time setting the table for casual gatherings. Just wrap colorful napkins around silverware and slip them into a glass at each place setting. It’s so charming…and you don’t have to remember where the forks, knives and spoons go!
