Makes 8 to 10 servings
1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. ground Italian pork sausage
salt and pepper to taste
28-oz. plus 16-oz. jars spaghetti sauce
8-oz. pkg. Italian trio pasta, cooked
2 16-oz. pkgs. shredded mozzarella cheese
2-1/2 oz. pkg. sliced pepperoni, halved
Brown beef and sausage in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain; add salt and pepper to taste. In a lightly greased 13"x9" baking pan, layer half each of the spaghetti sauce, meat mixture, cooked pasta, mozzarella cheese and pepperoni; repeat layers. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
