These are some fun oracle and affirmation decks that Blue Moon Circle and I sometimes use during our rituals. Since these in particular (we use others as well) have goddess themes, you might enjoy exploring them as well. Oracle decks tend to be somewhat less complicated to use than tarot decks, and therefore less intimidating to the beginner and to those who aren’t comfortable with more in-depth divination.
The Gifts of the Goddess: 36 Affirmation Cards. Amy Zerber and Monte Farber. Chronicle Books.
Goddess Inspiration Oracle. Kris Waldherr. Llewellyn.
Goddess Knowledge Cards. Paintings by Susan Seddon Boulet/text by Michael Babcock. Pomegranate.
Journey to the Goddess Realm Oracle Deck. Lisa Porter. U.S. Games Systems, Inc.
In addition: I highly recommend the Llewellyn Annuals, which have the advantage of giving you taste of many different authors’ writing. In the Annuals, I often find people who are new to me and then track down their books, if they have written any. Lots of varied wisdom in those pages. And I subscribe to a number of Pagan magazines, including Sage Woman and Witches and Pagans, both from BBI Media.
