6. Cheeseburger Hand Pies

Supply your smoker thru wood pellets and follow the manufacturer’s specific start-up.

Preheat, with the lid closed, to 325°F.

On your stovetop, in a medium sauté pan over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef for 4 to 5 minutes, or until cooked through.

Add the minced onion and steak seasoning.

Toss in the shredded cheese blend and two slices of American cheese and stir until melted and fully incorporated.

Remove the cheeseburger mixture from the heat and set aside.

Make sure the dough is well chilled for easier handling.

Working quickly, roll out one prepared pizza crust on parchment paper and brush with half of the egg wash.

Arrange the remaining six slices of American cheese on the dough to outline six hand pies.
