5 lb. whole chicken

1/2 cup oil

Traeger chicken rub
Directions:

Preheat the Traeger on the smoke setting with the lid open for 5 minutes. Close the lid, and let it warm for 15 minutes or until it reaches 450.

Use bakers’ twine to tie the chicken legs together, then rub it with oil. Coat the chicken with the rub and place it on the grill.

Grill for 70 minutes with the lid closed or until it reaches an internal temperature of 1650F.

Remove the chicken from the Traeger and let rest for 15 minutes. Cut and serve.
