A Summary of the Dreams
One hundred and eight dreams have been described in this book, very many of which clearly show that it is possible to have foreknowledge of future developments and even of specific events. The time periods involved range from a few days to several years. These periods are shown in italics in this summary, to indicate just how extraordinary this phenomenon has been.
It is perfectly true that in many cases the full understanding of a dream was not possible until the events actually occurred, but this does not invalidate the assertion that there was a precognition. For example, often a dream would warn of particular upsets in a certain situation without an indication of when they would occur; nonetheless the subsequent events would be clearly recognisable as relating to the dream. Moreover the dreams often gave information that could not possibly have been known at the time by any normal means, perhaps concerning people who had not yet been met or the actions of others that even they had not yet considered.
However, the most significant observation to be made is thatm in more than one third of these dreams a specific time period was indicated, usually by means of numbers, and was understood at the time. These periods ranged from six days to six years. Dreams of this nature are marked by * in the summary.
Only the briefest description of the dreams is offered here but page numbers are given so that the reader may refer back to the details.
