The working process of a hydroponics system is not a critical matter for you to understand, but it is very simple. Generally, we plant trees in the soil, but why? The soil contains different types of nutrients and different types of natural fertilizer. We plant trees in the soil and our plants grow up properly.
Now we come to the hydroponics system. Here, we don’t need to have soil for running this process. We just use the water and different types of nutrients for the growth of plants.
If you want to do the hydroponic system you need to use all the main materials listed in this book. Soil is just a way of standing the plants up. Yes, the soil contains nutrients but so do these nutrient materials. Therefore, there is no need for soil for the plants.
A deep container and the nutrients will help the plants to stand properly. Again, as the roots of the plants stay into the water and the nutrients, the plants will get what they need to survive from this process. All the necessities like water, air, and light will be provided for the plants also.
If there are all the life sustaining elements are available, so why is there need to have soil? Well, this process works only by use of this particular system and in this case, soil is not needed for the system. But one thing is that you will not be able to plant big trees by this process, that is when you would need soil. This process works only for the small vegetables or small flowers only.
