Get your hands on kraut—the kind you ferment at home (see the recipe on page 113) or find in the refrigerated section of your grocery store labeled “raw,” “fermented,” and/or “live”—for the digestive beauty benefits you’ve been missing! A healthy digestive system is closely connected to radiant skin, immunity, good moods, and a healthy weight, making pungent sauerkraut an unexpected beauty food.
