Water will always be my number-one recommended beauty sip, but some teas come in at a close second, especially during the chilly months. Green, white, and rooibos teas get plenty of attention for their antioxidant values, but there’s a lot to be said for the pleasure and comfort they deliver as well; choose the brew that sets off those happy signals in your brain while keeping the caffeine to a minimum. If you’re looking for a new tea variety, try tulsi, a brew made from the holy basil plant that helps improve the body’s response to stress. A tea you love can take the place of an evening cocktail or nightcap, and offer far greater benefits. For the most beautifying teas, look for organic varieties that don’t contain added flavors.
