One Flower Motif = 2" (5 cm) diameter using size G (4 mm) hook.

Tr4tog (Treble crochet 4 together)
*[Yarn over] twice, insert hook in indicated st and draw up a loop, [yarn over and draw through 2 loops] twice; repeat from * 3 more times, yarn over and draw through all 5 loops on hook.
Instructions
(Make 14 in each color: Black, Cypress, Marine, Enamel, Avocado, Damson.)

Flower Motif
Ch 2.
Rnd 1 (RS): 6 sc in first ch, join with sl st to first sc. Do not turn.
Rnd 2: (Ch 3, tr4tog, ch 3, sl st) in first sc, *[sl st, ch 3, tr4tog, ch 3, sl st) in next sc; rep from * 4 more times, join with sl st to base of beg ch 3. Fasten off.
Assembly
Lay motifs according to placement diagram with 2 petals from each motif adjacent to one another.
Joining Motifs (make rows)
Put RS of 2 motifs tog, *attach gray yarn at right edge, 1 sc through tops of 1st petal, 1 sc through sides of 1st petal, 1 sc through sides of 2nd petal, 1 sc through tops of 2nd petal—4 sc for seam, fasten off; rep from * for rem motifs to complete row. Lay stripes according to placement diagram.
Joining Rows
Put RS of 2 stripes together and attach gray yarn at right edge, *1 sc through tops of 1st petal, 1 sc through sides of 1st petal, 1 sc through sides of 2nd petal, 1 sc through sides of 2nd petal; rep from * for each side to end of stripe. Rep for rem stripes and side seams.
JOINING SIDE SEAMS
Rep as for joining rows for each side.
Finishing
Weave in all ends.
ASSEMBLE HANDLES
Position each end of handle between the 2nd and 3rd motifs from each side of the bag seam and 2nd row down from the top edge of bag. With sewing needle and thread, sew ends to bag.
