Gochujang (Korean Chili Paste)

THIS EXCELLENT, SLIGHTLY sweet and not too spicy paste can be found at many Asian groceries and is used in a number of Korean dishes.  Again, it is well worth seeking out, though it can be made at home with a few simple ingredients if you have some gochugaru on hand.  This quick recipe will keep in your refrigerator for a month or more and is great to have on hand for any number of uses (tasty on most grilled foods, for example).
