Ganjang (Soy Sauce)

MOST AMERICAN HOME cooks are well acquainted with soy sauce.  Korean soy sauce is similar to the Japanese variety most of us have in our cupboards.  Koreans also use Guk-ganjang or “soup soy sauce” which is lighter and color and milder in flavor.  Be aware that soy sauces with the label “naturally brewed” are typically superior products.
