Aekjeot (Fish Sauce)

AEKJEOT (FISH SAUCE) is part of a larger group of Korean pantry staples called jeotgal, which essentially means “salted seafood.”Aekjeot is commonly used to kick off the fermentation process in kimchi as well as to season various soups and stews.  Also widely used in Vietnamese and Thai cooking, brands from all countries can be found in Asian groceries.
