Preparation

  1. Have all the ingredients ready before starting.  Heat the oil on medium-high in a large skillet, add garlic, onion and stir fry until slightly colored, 2-3 minutes.  Add meat and stir fry until browned, about 5-6 minutes.
  2. Add kimchi as well as vegetables and stir fry for another 5 minutes.  Add rice then mix everything together, cooking 5 more minutes.
  3. Drizzle with oyster sauce and sesame oil, and transfer to a platter.  Scatter scallions over and top with a fried egg or two, if using.
